Kororareka Marae, in partnership with Te Wananga o Aeotearoa are running Te Reo classes in Russell Kororareka.

In 2009, around 25 students completed Level 1 and Level 2 Te Ara Reo Maori, with plans to hold a second year class for Level 3 and Level 4 in 2010. In addition, if there is sufficient interest, a second Year 1 class will be held in Russell Kororareka.
Please contact Kororareka Marae to register your interest. NB students wishing to enrol in Year 2 with an existing level of Te Reo will need to sit a test to provide evidence of prior learning before they will be accepted.
HUI FOR TE REO CLASSES
Please note, a hui for all Year 2 students as well as propsective Year 1 students will be held at Whare Wananga, Russell School, Church Street, Russell on Thursday 11th February at 6.00 pm. Nau mai, haere mai, all welcome.
